1. What we collect
- Sign-up: name, email and password (stored hashed)
- Using the Service: the study material you upload, your notes, quiz history and other study data
- Payments: payments are processed by Polar Software, Inc., our Merchant of Record (earlier payments with Korean payment methods were processed by Toss Payments). IFF AI never collects or stores card numbers. We only receive what we need to confirm your plan, such as the order number, amount, payment method and time of payment, plus the name and email you gave at checkout so we can send your receipt.
- Collected automatically: access logs, device and browser information, cookies (Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity)
2. How we use it
- To provide features such as summaries and quizzes, and to manage your account
- To process subscription payments, send payment confirmations and answer support requests
- To analyze usage statistics and improve the Service
3. Sharing: we never sell your data
IFF AI never sells your personal information or uploads, or shares them with third parties for advertising. We only share data, to the extent necessary, with service providers that help us run the Service: payment processing (Polar, and Toss Payments for earlier payments), email delivery (Resend), hosting (Cloudflare) and analytics. Some of these providers are located in the United States.
4. Retention and deletion
We delete your personal information without delay when you close your account, except payment records we are required by law to keep for the legally required period. You can delete your uploads yourself at any time.
5. Your rights
You can ask at any time to access, correct or delete your personal information, or to stop processing it. If you are a minor, your parent or guardian can make these requests too. The Service does not accept sign-ups from anyone under 14, and if we learn we have collected personal information from someone under 14, we delete it promptly.
